Hi newbie here and to welding
Looking to buy a welder to do bits on my motorbikes . Dont like mig (cant get on with it ???). Was looking to get a Rehmanns one of the ebay

Wondered if it looks ok for light fabrication ....aint gonna be building 50+ frames a year...yet :D:D

I don't promote lesser equiptment, but start with what you can afford. My first TIG was an Italian made inverter type very similar to that. It lacked the amperage control via foot pedal or thumb control, such as that welder. BUT, if you learn with that welder, you'll love a full function Miller or Lincoln!

IMHO, I would look into HTP welding machines. I've heard nothing but good about them' and was going to buy my tig from them. Too bad I got a great deal on a TA185 SQ wave tig from Thermal Arc. Check them out at USAWelds.com:cool:

I went to a class at HTP, their machines are great, as is their service.
I to own a Thermal Arc ( 300 LS), these also are great welders.
