Marlinworks,I found all the information in the manual (of course) and now understand.It is somewhat difficult to explain. Setting the Z axis,chapter5-7 and 5-8.Also Z axis calibration, chapter 6-54 and 6-55.
I had to read several times to understand it. Thanks

I understand the arc shift voltage is a feedback voltage from the plasma cutter used by the plasmacam controller to maintain the torch cutting distance from the material. This actually works pretty good, but the method used limits the z-axis use by the computer, the z-axis is a dummy and cannot be computer controlled.
