Thanks... steppers? Home switchs are notoriously expensive for a plunger type, optical pick-ups or switches are hard to mount seems how you have to keep them 100% clean. They sell an add on which uses the servo encoder 0 mark in conjuction with a simple plunger type switch which is the most accurate way to go. Thanks MC mc-motorsports 10-15-2008, 04:41 PM Artsoft is the people who made the Mach3 software. Sorry if I confused you, if your using stepper motors, you more than likely don't use enconders. You'll need to find a high quality switch, $15 switches won't repeat better than .015" at best, I tried. Good luck! |
