ok I have a problem.... I need to know how to straighten a stainless 16"x16" 7ga. plate that warped when I welded. I needed to weld a piece of 3x3 tubing in the center (weld on inside of tubing) and when I did this, I unclamped too soon and when the plates cooled they warped... I tried clamping them down and heating them with oxy torch but to no avail... what next? Put them in the oven then clamp and let cool??

Your probably better starting over. Heat sink the hell out of it if you have to do the job over.
Did your 16" plate "cup" on you?
